ALUMNI FOR THE AGES
The Spirit and Pride of South Fork High School begins on that very first day of school, for that freshmen student unsure about what to expect in his or her future high school career; an influential time of shaping kids, into young adults.
Remember that first day, walking into the band room, heart racing, hands shaking, and instead of not knowing what to say, or what to do, one of the seniors invites you over to talk about how your first day is going.
Our band isn’t just a band, but a family bonded tightly from the very start, which makes us a little bit different from other bands, and which is why our alumni are still a very strong part of our existing band family. The memories we create will be remembered forever. A legacy of football games, concerts and time spent together learning, laughing and creating music.
South Fork High School has a deep-rooted legacy in building exceptional students, extraordinary community role-models, and incomparable musicians. Many remain playing music throughout their lives, or go on to pursue a career in music.
For decades to come, our students really do remain a band family. It is special our alumni remain close to our current band students.
ALUMNI INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We need 2020 marching band season volunteers! We would like a few alumni volunteers for varsity football home games with concessions and equipment. Please use the contact form below to express your interest and tell us your availability! Volunteering is a great way to
Mr. Bogdan is planning some wonderful playing opportunities for the 2020-2021 school year. During selected concerts/pieces planned in advance by Mr. Bogdan, he would like to invite alumni to come and play on stage with the band. This is a special opportunity that will mean a lot to the students, as well as to the audience. Having the support and involvement of our alumni is appreciated by all of us.
